We are delighted to welcome Jill Stokes and her physio team to a physio Q & A on Thursday 14th May at 8:05 (after the clap for carers). Please come along to get any help or advice on physio related concerns. Jill has over 20 years experience providing physio to amputees in the NHS. Radio Brockley joined OPUS at the Prosthetic Rehabilitation Centre for the presentation of resources to the Orthotic and Prosthetic Departments. Rob Hurd, Dominic Dodd and Emma Joy-Staines and Sandra Staffiero were interviewed by Radio Brockley about the event and the work of OPUS. OPUS had a wonderful presentation of the equipment purchased from the Tesco Bags of Help Grant secured by Steel Bones for paediatric users at RNOH Stanmore.
It was a special Celebration attended by the Trust’s CEO Rob Hurd and Chair of the Trustees Dominic Dodd, David Bickers CEO The Douglas Bader Foundation plus Radio Brockley. Dr Imad Sedki attended with his Multi Disciplinary Team of prosthetists, orthotists, psychologist and counsellor and representatives from Steeper.
